vI ` <br /> Mr. David Bates -3- December 23 , 1986 <br /> Based on the foregoing information, the Department believes that <br /> the hazardous waste handled and treated at the subject water <br /> treatment plant will be handled and treated in a manner which is <br /> consistent with the hazardous waste management provisions of <br /> Chapter 30, Division 4, Title 22 of the California Administrative <br /> Code, and will not result in a hazard to human health and safety, <br /> livestock or wildlife. Pursuant to Section 66310 of the <br /> aforementioned Chapter, the Department grants the Marley Cooling <br /> Tower Company a variance to the above referenced hazardous waste <br /> facility permit requirements for the subject water treatment <br /> plant, provided the subject plant is constructed, operated and <br /> maintained as described in the variance application and <br /> supporting documentation which was submitted to this Department, <br /> and is paraphrased above. <br /> The variance shall remain in effect until revoked by the <br /> Department or relinquished by The Marley Cooling Tower Company. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this variance, please contact <br /> Mr. Duane Gelster in Sacramento at (916) 739-2833 . <br /> Sincerely, <br /> James T.
