• s
II. WQCB Comments:
Note: The following WQCB comments have been excerpted from
Attachment A to DHS letter of April 29, 1988. Only those
comments which have not been addressed in DHS comments have been
repeated.
WQCB Comment:
3. I [G.A. Reents of WQCB] still have the same concern
regarding separation of proposed monitoring well screen
intervals discussed in our 25 November 1987 comments. It is
important to sample separate aquifer zones to obtain the
most meaningful results. Also, as discussed in our 25
November, 1987 comments, not: installing a shallow zone well
in the initial cluster leaves a data gap. I will agree,
however, that the necessity of a shallow zone well can be
decided after the initial data has been collected.
MCTC Response:
As discussed in response to DHS comments, MCTC will comply with
these suggestions.
WQCB Comment:
4. It is assumed, since it is not stated, that all wells will
be developed by air stripping as in the past.
MCTC Response:
Work Plan will be revised to note development by air stripping.
WQCB Comment:
6. Storm water samples need to be collected as composites or
series grabs as discussed in our 2 October 1987 comments.
MCTC Response:
The referenced comments were not incorporated in the sampling
completed. Grab samples only were obtained.
WQCB Comment:
7. The actual data and documentation for the 16 to 22 January
1988 aquifer testing discussed in the Workplan needs to be
submitted to our office.
MCTC Response:
MCTC will comply. Data will be submitted.
11654 9
