6.0 QUALITY CONTROL AND QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> Several quality assurance procedures will be performed before, during, and <br /> after sample collection and analysis. <br /> 6.1 PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE <br /> The laboratory is responsible for preventative maintenance of analytical <br /> equipment as recommended in Section 4.3.2.1 of the Current Work Plan. <br /> 6.2 DATA VALIDATION <br /> Data validation will be performed by the sampling personnel after submittal <br /> of the laboratory's report as discussed in Section 8.3. <br /> All field logbooks, laboratory scheduling, and analytical records related <br /> to the sampling will be the responsibility of the sampling personnel as <br /> described in Section 4.3.4 of the Current Work Plan. <br /> 6.3 PRECISION, ACCURACY, AND REPRESENTATIVENESS <br /> Precision and accuracy will be assessed for analyses as discussed in <br /> Section 4.3.2.2 of the Current Work Plan. <br /> 6.4 CORRECTIVE ACTION <br /> If quality control audits or data review result in detection of <br /> unacceptable data, the appropriate corrective action will be taken. <br /> Corrective action measures are presented in Section 4.3.2.1 of the <br /> Current Work Plan. <br /> 7.0 SAFETY <br /> Sampling personnel may be exposed to low concentrations of wood treating <br /> chemicals during the storm water sampling. To minimize exposure and to <br /> maximize validity of sampling results, all storm water sampling activities <br /> will be conducted in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan developed <br /> for site remedial action work activities. <br /> 5 <br />
