1 On July 10,2012 the depth-to-water was measured at 51.77 ft TOC at 7:15. It was
difficult to detect the bottom of the well, so no measurement was recorded. The
' bailer was lowered 5 times to remove 15 gallons of water. The first bailer had some
drilling mud and silty water, but subsequent bailers had no mud.
The submersible pump was lowered to approximately 10 feet below the water level
(approximately 80 feet above the top of the well screen). 478.6 gallons were pumped
from the well in 24 minutes at an average rate of approximately 18 gallons per minute
' (GPM). Turbidity declined from a peak of 700 NTU to 350 NTU(Figure 10).
Pumping was stopped and the submersible pump lowered to a few inches from the
bottom of the well. Pumping resumed with the submersible pump raised gradually
' over the 15 feet of well screen. An additional 866.4 gallons were pumped from the
well with the final turbidity measurement at 45 NTU.
' The bottom of well MW-4505 was measured at 160.01 ft TOC at the conclusion of
development.
' 8.3 Well MW-449D
Well MW-449D was developed on July 10, 2012. The initial depth-to-water was
t measured at 56.00 feet below the top of casing(ft TOC) on July 10, 2012. The
bottom of the well was measured at 169.1 ft TOC before development.
t Initially, the bailer was lowered 15 times to remove approximately 45 gallons of
water. The first bailer contained mostly drilling mud that settled at the bottom of the
well. The next four bailers contained a mixture of drilling mud and water(described
' as a heavy, viscous fluid)with sand and silt. After the 15`h bailer, the well was surged
for 20 minutes. The bailer was then lowered 10 additional times with the first couple
bailers containing some fine sand and silt. Approximately 75 gallons were removed
' by the bailer.
The submersible pump was lowered to approximately 14 feet below the water level
' (approximately 95 feet above the top of the well screen). 570 gallons were pumped
from the well in 30 minutes at an average rate of approximately 19 gallons per minute
(GPM). Turbidity declined from a peak of 2995 NTU to 35 NTU (Figure 11).
' Pumping was stopped and the submersible pump lowered to a few inches from the
bottom of the well. Pumping resumed with the submersible pump raised gradually
over the 15 feet of well screen set at this well. An additional 730 gallons were
' pumped from the well with the final turbidity measurement at 1.4 NTU.
The bottom of well MW-449D was measured at 180.05 ft TOC at the conclusion of
' development.
8.4 Well MW-4495
' Well MW-449S was developed on July 10, 2012. The initial depth-to-water was
measured at 51.33 feet below the top of casing(ft TOC)on July 10, 2012. The
bottom of the well was measured at 159.25 ft TOC before development.
Well Completion Report for Monitor Well Pairs MW-449 and MW-450 7128-9
SPX Cooling Technologies Dudek
' Stockton,California Page 8 January 2013
