FORMLR AMERICAN FOREST PRODUCTS 1.0 Introduction
Closure Summary Report July 2009
URS Project 17322736 Page 1-2
10. Provide tabulated results of all sample analyses. (Table 4, Groundwater Analytical Results, and
Appendix E, Soil Boring Locations,Analytical Results, and cross sections from 1994 Closure
Request Report)
11. Discuss concentration and mass changes over time, and current concentrations of contaminants
remaining in groundwater at the Site. (Section 3.4, Groundwater Conditions)
12. Provide isoconcentration contour maps of contaminants of concern to define the lateral and vertical
extent of contaminants remaining in soil and groundwater. The maps should present an estimated
"zero line" of contaminant concentrations both on-site and off-site. (Figure 8, 1,2-DCA
Iso concentration Contours)
13. Provide a summary of the remedial methods used to clean up the site. (Section 2.3,Site
Environmental Investigation History, and Section 4.1,Soil Corrective Actions)
14. Provide a discussion of whether background is unattainable using best available remediation methods.
(Section 8.0,Rationale for Site Closure)
15. Provide a discussion or estimate of contaminant mass remaining in soil and groundwater versus
contaminant mass removed or destroyed by soil excavation or remedial actions. (Section 4.2,Mass of
Hydrocarbon in Soils Prior To And Following Excavation)
16. Provide assumptions, parameters, calculations and the model used in any risk assessment. (Section
7 0, RWQCB Tier I Environmental Risk Assessment)
17. Provide assumptions, parameters, calculations and the model used in fate and transport modeling.
(Section 5.0,Modeling to Estimate Impact of Soil Contamination on Groundwater)
18. Present a rationale why the conditions remaining at the site will not adversely impact water quality,
human health and safety, or other beneficial uses. Include a finding about present and future water
use, and risks the site may still represent to human health and safety and water purity. (Section 8.0,
Rationale for Site Closure)
19. Provide a list of technical reports submitted for site assessment, corrective action, confirmation
sampling, and closure. (Section 9.0,References)
20. Provide any additional comments supporting the NFAA. (Section 8.0,Rationale for Site Closure)
K Wpmce S.22%=(,',Amerism ForesnLlosure-Summary-Report-RevOl.doc
