The pipeline excavation was reportedly re-excavated to a depth of five feet on July. 9, 1991 and <br /> m August 5 1991. PHS/EHD was not present for this excavation and sampling event. This area may require <br /> confirmation sampling. <br /> "Pursuant to Section 2652(d),Article 5,Chapter 16,Title 23 of the California Code of Regulations a quarterly <br /> monitoring report shall be submitted to PHS/EHD and RWOCB until the investigation and cleanup of the <br /> site is deemed adequate.The wells at this site were last sampled in July 1990. Sampling and measuring of the <br /> four existing wells shall begin immediately. All data and measurements used to.determine gradient shall be <br /> .included with this report. If the gradient is confirmed to be to the north-northwest, the former waste oil tank <br /> -'area does not have a downgradient monitoring well in close proximity. Installation of a downgradient well will <br /> ,be required. <br /> %A workplan to define the lateral and vertical extent of soil contamination south of the former maintenance <br /> building and a quarterly monitoring report shall be submitted to PHS/EHD by February,15, 1994. <br /> The Problem Assessment Report (PAR) shall contain information that summarizes the soil data, as well as <br /> .the groundwater data, and discuss appropriate remediation alternatives.
