x .STANDARD AGREEMENT (conlued) <br /> i <br /> i. The term 'floating product" means any petroleum which is floating upon 1 <br /> surface water or usund water. <br /> j. The term "free product' means any petroleum which is in an undissolved <br /> state. <br /> k. The term "hazardous substance" means those substances listed or defined <br /> in Section 25281() of the California Health and Safety Code. <br /> 1 . The term "heating oil' includes fuel oil that is used in the operation <br /> of heating equipment, boilers, furnaces and like equipment, such as No. <br /> 1, No. 2, No. 4-light, No. 4-heavy, No. 5-light, No. 5--heavy and No. n <br /> of fuel oil , and oder residual fuel oils (including Navy Special Fuel <br /> Oil and Bunker C). The term also includes other residual fuels when <br /> used as a substitutz for the fuel oils just indicated. <br /> m. The term "LUFTt1 means leaking underground fuel tank. <br /> n. The term "operator' moans any person in control of, or having <br /> responsibility for, the daily operation of an UST. <br /> o. The term 'oversea' cr 'oversight" means the supervision and direction of <br /> the quality, scope _nd type of the assessment and cleanup work describes <br /> in SECTION TWO of ahibit B performed y a Responsible Party or his or <br /> her agent at a UST site. <br /> p. The term 'owner' -mans the owner of an UST. <br /> q. The term "petro i e•..��-�' means crude o i 1 or, any fraction thereof which is <br /> liquid at standard =editions of temperature and pressure (bO degrees <br /> Fahrenheit and 14.17 pounds per square inch absolute) . The term includes <br /> but is not limited to petroleum-based substances comprised of a complex <br /> blend of hydrocarbons derived from crude oil through processes of <br /> separation, conversions, upgrading and finishing. The team includes <br /> waste oil. <br /> r. The term "Responsible Party' means the owner and/or operator of an UST <br /> from which an unau.orized release has taken place, and every other <br /> person, organization, or agency which is legally responsible for <br /> repayment of Local Oversight costs. The term includes all persons , <br /> organizations, and agencies classified las "Responsible Parties" by <br /> applicable State ir'azer Board regulations. The term includes, but is not <br /> necessarily limiter to, the following persons: <br /> 1) any person who �Hns or operates an UST used to store petroleum; <br /> Standard Agreement Page 3 of 9 <br />
