The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of DPF ash was observed in the body shop without an accumulation start date and <br /> hazardous properties. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily absorbent was observed in the service alley without an accumulation start <br /> date and hazardous properties. <br /> -Five black metal 55 gallon drums of used filters were observed outside the main shop on the eastern side without <br /> an accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used filters was observed outside the main shop on the eastern side with a <br /> faded, illegible label. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste fuel was observed inside the main shop without an accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> -One clear plastic 275 gallon tote of used antifreeze was observed in the main shop without a hazardous waste <br /> label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by November 4, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
