Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report —March 1999 <br />' Former American Forest Products Stockton Facility <br /> Stockton, California <br /> 1.0 Introduction <br /> This report has been prepared by Dames & Moore on behalf of the former American Forest <br /> Products Company (AFPC), and presents the results of the second of four scheduled <br /> groundwater monitoring events at the former AFPC facility (Site) located at 2801 West Lane, <br /> Stockton, California (Figure 1) This work has been conducted in response to a letter from <br /> the San Joaquin County Public Health Service-Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) <br /> dated August 3, 1998 <br /> 1.1 Purpose <br /> The purpose of this report is to document groundwater monitoring activities conducted at <br />' the Site during March 1999 The primary objectives of the groundwater monitoring are to <br /> assess changes in groundwater levels and concentrations of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons <br /> as Diesel (TPH-D) in groundwater at the Site <br /> 1.2 Scope of Work <br /> The scope of work for the second monitoring event included the following activities <br /> • Measurement of water levels at all seven monitoring wells, <br /> • Quarterly monitoring at monitoring wells DMW-b and DM-7, <br /> • Analysis of groundwater samples for TPH-D, and <br /> • Preparation of a quarterly monitoring report <br /> i <br /> 1 G 1WORDPROC\saclafp19904_01 DOG <br /> DAMES&MOORE <br />
