Of Water
Resources, municipal water suppliers and nearby industries. Perform a physical search of
' the area to identify any wells. Show locations of all wells, submit the construction details
of the wells and evaluate the influence of pumping with respect to the migration of the
contamination
rIn addition:
' 1) Begin Quarterly Monitoring of groundwater at this site On all future Quarterly
Monitor Reports (QMRs) tabulate all TPHD sampling data (historical and to date).
2) Provide a rose diagram of all gradient determinations from the first gradient
determination to present (upgrade this diagram every sampling event).
M' 3) On all QMR maps, show previous Underground Storage Tank (UST) locations and all
DMWs.
i4) Purge water must be properly contamenzed and stored on site (or other PHS/EHD
approved area) All containers must be appropriately labeled as to content, date of
' accumulation, etc Disposal of all purge water must be documented
5) Soil stockpiles remain at this site. The soils should be sampled and disposed of
properly
After installation of the additional MW(s) and PHS/EHD review of their sampling data,
the need for remediation will be evaluated Please contact Carol Oz, Senior REHS, at
(209) 468-3440 if you have questions about this letter
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
' Carol Oz, Senior RENS Margaret Lagono, RENS
Site Mitigation Unit N Supervisor
cc ark List-CVRWQCB
Dave Zuber-Dames and Moore
r
