The containers <br /> were: <br /> -Two white metal 55 gallon drums of waste resin were observed in the hazardous waste storage area without <br /> hazardous waste labels. <br /> -One white metal 55 gallon drum of waste acetone was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without an <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> -One blue metal 55 gallon drum of waste acetone was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", generator name&address, hazardous properties, accumulation start date and physical <br /> state. <br /> -One orange plastic five gallon bucket of used oil was observed inside the shop without a hazardous waste label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by December 23, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152). Four 55 gallon drums of dried resin were observed <br /> in front of the shop. Per Noe Lopez, Owner, the drums will be used to create a weight to crush the garbage.
