SAN 10 A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY <br /> RCRA Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> UNIVERSITY OF THE PACIFIC 1 3601 PACIFIC AVE, STOCKTON July 29,2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS 11,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# 1 Remarks <br /> 406 CCR 66261.7 Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> The following empty containers were found in the 90 Day waste storage area not marked with the date emptied: <br /> (2)1-gallon empty container <br /> (1)55-gallon polydrum <br /> Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were <br /> emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this <br /> section. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 602 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(B)Stored satellite accumulated waste on site longer than one year or 90 days after fill date. <br /> The following were observed during the site walk through: <br /> Chemistry Building, Room 202—Satellite accumulation has been on site for greater than one year for a 1-gallon <br /> organic waste bottle containing one inch of waste. Bottle dated 08-02-18 <br /> John T.Chambers Technology Center, Room 213—had an open 1-gallon container of potassium hydroxide solution <br /> waste that has been stored at the satellite accumulation for more than one year.Accumulation start date marked on <br /> container 06-14-18. <br /> Satellite accumulated waste shall not be stored on site for more than 90 days after the container was filled,or a total <br /> of one year,whichever comes first.
