Walnut Grove Road, Thornton, CA <br /> Dear Mr. Knoll: 11 <br /> This letter report is submitted by Ground Zero Analysis, Inc. (Ground Zero) on behalf of Sunnyside <br /> Produce to present a proposed workplan to conduct a subsurface investigation at the subject site <br /> (Figure 1). <br /> The general scope of work will consist of drilling and sampling nine soil borings in the vicinity of the <br /> ate the extent of subsurface soil and <br /> to investigate former underground storage tanks (UST) g <br /> groundwater contamination. Five of the proposed borings .will be advanced using the direct push <br /> method. The rema ning four borings will be advanced(through the use of a hand auger. One discrete <br /> groundwater sample will be collected from each of the five proposed direct push borings 1'to <br /> -tent of groundwater impact.
