Dear Mr Knoll <br /> This letter report presents the results of the second quarter 2003 groundwater monitoring and <br /> sampling activities at the subject site (Figure 1) The report was prepared by Ground Zero Analysis, <br /> Inc (Ground Zero) on behalf of the Barnyard Corporation <br /> 1.0 SITE ACTIVITIES <br /> Groundwater was monitored, purged and sampled in all site wells Samples collected from wells <br /> MW1 through MW7 were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), ethylene dibromide <br /> (EDB), and oxygenated gasoline additives <br /> 2.0 FIELDWORK <br /> 2.1 Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling <br /> An experienced Ground Zero field technician monitored and sampled wells MW 1 through MW7 <br /> on June 26, 2003 Groundwater elevations were calculated by measuring the depth to groundwater <br /> in each well, and subtracting the measured value from the respective wellhead elevation The depth <br /> to groundwater in the wells ranged from 5 26 feet below the top of the well casing (btoc) in well <br /> MW6 to 7 79 feet btoc in well MW3 Groundwater elevations rose an average of 0 96 feet between <br /> March 4, 2003 and June 26, 2003 Groundwater generally flowed west with an average gradient of <br /> GIGROUNDZCli3amyard-ManscrlReportslQMR1200312QM2003 doc <br />
