i
i
6.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Conclusions of the soil and ground water investigation are presented below, followed by
recommendations.
:i
j
6.1 Conclusions
Soil i
* Low level TPH hydrocarbon mixtures (ranging from,2.8 to 67 mg/kg) were detected
in shallow soil at each boring (at 3.5 feet bgs); but were non-detect in deeper soil (at
9.5 feet bgs).
I
* Toluene and xylenes were detected at low levels (2.6 and 5.3 µg/kg, respectively) in
shallow soil at SB-01 (at 3.5 feet bgs); and were non-detect in deeper soil (at 9.5 feet
1
bgs). Both concentrations are well below their respective residential PRG.
N
* Soil staining was noted on the soil boring log for SB-02 from 3.5 to 4.0 feet bgs; the
soil sample collected at this depth indicated TPH hydrocarbon mixtures at 67 mg/kg;
VOCs, and SVOCs were non-detect.
 L
Ground Water
* TPH, SVOCs, benzene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were not detected in any ground
F
Cwater samples analyzed.
I
j
808-001.rprl04-29-971ulkeydaalrepom 24 IE
t
