Metal particles at the drill press require hazardous waste and size determination. Any person who <br />generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste, and manage it according the Title <br />22 hazardous waste regulations. Particles 100 microns or smaller must be handled as hazardous waste <br />if the metal is determined to be a hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br />explaining how this waste was managed by 10/6/2012. <br />605 & 701. Observed no date of accumulation on three 55 -gallon drums of used oil, a date of February <br />27, 2012 on one 55 -gallon drum of used oil, and no hazardous properties and physical state on the label <br />of all four drums. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br />information. Part of the labeling violations were corrected on site.
