Gaitan, Jason
From: John Farmer <jfarmer@americanintegrated.com>
Sent: Wednesday, September 11, 2019 3:10 PM
To: Gaitan,Jason; 'EMandrup@lbarealty.com'
Cc: Ledbetter, Kathleen
Subject: RE: EXTERNAL: FW: HMBP Re-Inspection Report for 14800 W SCHULTE RD, TRACY, CA
95377
Jason,
Apologies, I have been traveling and out of state as well over the past 2 weeks.
Due to the overall time schedule for the demolition activities onsite and the small amount of water in the OWS, we
collectively felt that discharging the water onsite was not the method of choice unless as a last resort. AIS/LBA
instructed onsite personnel to remove the OWS top or lid and allow the water to evaporate over time. Given the OWS
was a metal structure and the summer temperatures and breezing conditions, all factors that helped speed up the
evaporation process. We wanted to keep the handling of the water simple and not generate more paperwork. After
some time, the OWS did not retain any water and the direction was given to the demolition crew to flatten the skid
mounted metal unit and include it in with metal debris being processed onsite for loading and export to a local metal
recycling facility.
I do not have the exact dates but can get those from the site.
I can also amend the Completion Report to include the above information and resubmit the report to you.
Just let me know Jason—thanks again for the assistance and sorry for the late response on this.
Sincerely,
John Farmer
Corporate Technical Advisor
1502 E.Opp Street
Wilmington,CA 90744
Cell(714)307-4322
Office(310)522-1168
Email.*farmer@americanintegrated.com
From: Gaitan,Jason [mailto:jgaitan@sjgov.org]
Sent: Wednesday, September 11, 2019 2:06 PM
To: 'EMandrup@lbarealty.com' <EMandrup@lbarealty.com>
Cc:John Farmer<jfarmer@americanintegrated.com>
Subject: FW: EXTERNAL: FW: HMBP Re-Inspection Report for 14800 W SCHULTE RD,TRACY, CA 95377
Hi Emilly,
Just wanted to forward the email sent to Kathleen, I understand that she if off on vacation at the moment.
She mentioned that you and/or American Integrated will be responding to this email.
1
