r
. A copy of the vapor well-head laboratory analytical results, and copies of vapor inlet/outlet
laboratory analytical results are presented in Appendix D A historical summary of hydrocarbons
removed by vapor extraction is presented in Table 3, and individual well vapor concentrations are
included in Table 4 Field Status System Reports are presented in Appendix C
On December 16, 2002, via a telephone conversation with Mr Mike Infurna Jr (a representative of
SJEHD), and Mr Raymond Friedrichsen (a representative of Thrifty Oil Co ), it was agreed to wait
until the results of the fourth quarter 2002 sampling event were known before any work plans were
submitted Upon review of the sampling data, Thrifty will retain a consultant to submit a site
assessment work plan for additional work as requested in the SJEDH's August 13, 2002 letter In
the Third Quarter 2002 Status Report, Thrifty included cost estimates for the proposed groundwater
extraction system (that was previously presented in the Hydrogeo Consultants Aquifer Testing
Report and Remedial Action Plan Report) Thrifty suggests that the forthcoming work plan is
reviewed, and possibly implemented before adding a groundwater treatment (GWT) system to this
site This would give Thrifty a better understanding of the subsurface lithology, and hydrocarbon
distribution prior to implementing GWT activities
Thrifty will continue the current groundwater monitoring and sampling program, and continue
operation of the vapor extraction system All interpretations expressed in this report are based solely
upon the review of data collected by EMC and analysis by Associated Laboratories
.
