hydrocarbons(TPH)by EPA method 8015 modified TPH, Benzene, and MTBE concentrations are <br /> plotted and contoured in Figures 2 through 4, respectively <br /> Starting in the third quarter of 1997, as required by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (CVRWQCB), samples were analyzed for Oxygenates by EPA Method 8260 The <br /> seven oxygenates which were sampled for are Di-isopropyl ether, Ethanol, Ethyl tert-Butyl Ether, <br /> Methanol, Methyl tert-Butyl Ether, Tert-Amyl Methyl Ether, Tert-Butanol A summary of select <br /> analytical sampling results are provided in Table 1, and a copy of the laboratory analytical report <br /> is contained in Appendix A <br /> CONCLUSION <br /> During the 4th Quarter 1998, TPH concentrations in the site monitoring wells were in the range of <br /> non-detectable(<50 ug/L)to 31,000 uglL (MW-5) Benzene concentrations in the site monitoring <br /> wells were in the range of non-detectable (<0 3 ug/L) to 7,000 ug/L (MW-5), and MTBE <br /> concentrations in the site monitoring wells were in the range of non-detectable (<20 ug/L)to 24,000 <br /> ug/L (MW-5) <br /> Thrifty plans to continue the current groundwater monitoring and sampling program, and is in the <br /> process of obtaining bids to re-survey the site including the well head elevations of each well <br /> Thrifty anticipates that both stations 171 and 172 will be surveyed in January when all scheduled <br />• work is completed <br /> Thrifty has submitted to the San Joaquin Air Pollution Control District (SJAPCD) a permit <br /> application to operate a remediation system at this site The SJAPCD sent Thrifty a letter which <br /> states the application appears to be complete, and is being processed As of this quarterly report, <br /> Thrifty is awaiting approval from the SJAPCD for the installation and operation of the remediation <br /> system <br /> All interpretations expressed in this report are based upon review of data collected by EMC <br /> Written by Reviewed by <br /> I <br /> (;a eal en Jay Badiei, RG, REA <br /> Pr Sect Manager CA Registration#6744 <br /> Environmental Geologist Co gee t <br /> Off° <br /> .�At IL JAY BADI3 (4 <br /> ° NO 6744 Q <br /> ��CAL�C� <br />
