Preliminary results indicate that chromium was detected at 13,000 mg/kg in one of the <br />collected oily textile samples. This result greatly exceeds the Title 22 TTLC level of 2,500 mg/kg for chromium. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing thereof, is prohibited when the <br />disposal is at a facility which does not have a permit from the department issued pursuant to this chapter, or at any <br />point which is not authorized according to this chapter. Hazardous wastes shall be disposed of only by <br />transportation to a permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSDF) or other authorized <br />point. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately cease disposal of oily textile/debris as non -hazardous waste.
