The analytical data
generated from these samples are sununanzed in Tables 2 and 3 Copies
of ariginal laboratory analytical data sheets are presented in Appendix B.
Soil
ERM collected soil samples from four locations on site,MW-1,-2,-3 and
B-7 Prior to this investigation, five soil borings were advanced,B-2, B-3,
B-4 and B-5 The various classes of compounds were detected at the
following locations
• TPH-locations B-2 and B-5 (from 1,200 to 17,000 milligrams per
kilogram (mg/kg)),
• BTEX-locations B-2,B-5, and B-6 (from 0 017 to 1,700 mg/kg); and
• Fuel oxygenates -location B-6 only (0 019 mg/kg)
TPH, BTEX, and fuel oxygenates were riot detected in any of the samples
submitted for analysis from locations B-3, 13-4, B-7,MW-1,MVV'-2, and
MW-3 In addition,no elevated PID readings were recorded during field
screening of samples collected as part of this investigation PID readings
are displayed on each boring log included in Appendix A
Ground Water
ERM collected ground water samples from the three newly installed
monitoring wells,MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 Ground water samples were
analyzed for TPH-g, BTEX, and fuel, oxygenates No compounds were
detected above analytical method detection limits in ground water
samples collected as part of this investigation Historically, TPH-g,
BTEX, and fuel oxygenates have been detected in temporary ground
water grab samples collected from borings B-5 and B-6 in the vicuuty of
the former UST
DISCUSSION
Based on the results of investigations conducted to date at the site, soil
and ground water impacts from the former UST in soil appear to be
limited to the irurnediate vicinity of the former UST (B-2 and B-5)
