IW
I i
Cora-Cola Enterprises West
USTEC Job No. 90054.03
3.3.1 Soil Analytical Test Results
The analytical chemistry results for soil samples collected during the field assessment are
summarized in Table 5 and are illustrated on Figures 10, 11, 12, and 13. The soil analytical
ii
result`are reported in mg/kg(milligrams per kilogram)which is equivalent to parts per million
"•
(ppm).
I
Gasoline hydrocarbon TPH concentrations in the soil ranged from not detected in borings B-14
 3
and 517 through B-24 to 630 ppm in boring B-16. A maximum gasoline TPH concentration of
w# 60 ppm was reported in B-15 at a depth of 29 feet below ground surface (bgs)and 630 ppm in
z ' boring B-16 at a depth of 5 feet bgs. Gasoline TPH concentrations were reported in all samples
analyzed from boring B-16 to a depth of 55 feet bgs.
Diesel TPH concentrations were reported in soil borings B-14 through B-17. TPH quantified as
i diesel ranged from not detected in Borings B-18 through B-24 to a maximum of 50 ppm in boring
;.,,
B-16 at a depth of 15 feet bgs.
S
kri
PNA concentrations were reported only from boring B-16 with 3,500 ppm as naphthalene
gs. PNAs were not detected in any other borings.
reported at a depth of 5 feet b
Concentrations of BTEX were reported in borings B-14 through B-19. Total BTEX concentrations
ranged from not detected to 81,000 ppb in boring B-16 at a depth of 15 feet bgs.
z The analytical test results indicate that the lateral extents of TPH and BTEX concentrations are
somewhat larger than the original contamination assessment suggested. The present petroleum
hydrocarbon distribution in soils is discussed in Section 3.4.1.
i
r
i 3.3.2 Groundwater Analytical Test Results
1
The results of the chemical analysis for the groundwater sample collected from groundwater
monitoring well MW-6 is presented in Table 2 and illustrated on Figure 14.
