1 <br /> CLOSURE REQUEST REPORT <br /> ' Coca-Cola Former Distnbution Facility <br /> 1100 North Wilson Way <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> 1 <br /> ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE <br /> Smith Environmental Technologies Corporation has prepared this report on behalf of Coca- <br /> Cola Enterprises, Inc (Coca-Cola) to present the information required for site closure review <br /> This report is being submitted to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> ' Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) and the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, Central Valley Region (CRWQCB) to satisfy the closure review requirements, <br /> ' as outlined by CRWQCB correspondence dated October 7, 1993 (Addition to Appendix A of <br /> the Tri-Regional Recommendations) <br /> 2.0 HYDROGEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The subject site is located at 1100 North Wilson Way in Stockton California (Figure 1), at the <br /> ' intersection of Roosevelt Street The site is situated at an approximate elevation of 18 feet <br /> above mean sea level, in the Great Valley geologic province Local surface sediments consist <br /> generally of clayey silt and some silty clay <br /> The site lies within the San Joaquin Valley groundwater basin, as defined by the California <br /> Department of Water Resources (1975) <br /> ' During the period of investigation the depth to groundwater at the site has ranged from 59 60 <br /> feet (MW-4, June 1995) to 74 46 feet (MW-3, December 1992) below grade When <br /> ' groundwater levels were last measured on September 28, 1995 the depth to water ranged from <br /> 61 37 feet (MW-4) to 61 97 feet (MW-3) The direction of groundwater flow has been <br /> ' generally east to northeast, with a gradient magnitude of approximately 0 001 feet per feet <br /> n 10540061reports\CLO1195 doc 1 <br /> • <br />
