(Coca-Cola) for submittal to the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS) This workplan contains a summary <br /> of the site history, proposed workscope to be completed to collect soil data from the vicinity of <br /> ' the former gasoline underground storage tank (UST) excavation for the purpose of obtaining site <br /> closure certification, and a projected schedule for the completion of work at the former Coca- <br /> Cola distribution facility located at 1100 North Wilson Way in Stockton, California (Figure 1) <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> The project site is located on North Wilson Way at the intersection of Roosevelt Street in <br /> 1 Stockton, California The site location is in a primarily commercial and industrial area The <br /> property is owned by Coca-Cola <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> ' Coca-Cola closed operations at the Distribution Facility in April 1990 Two steel USTs, fuel <br /> dispensers, product piping and vent piping were excavated and disposed as part of the <br /> ' abandonment process One 10,000 gallon diesel UST, installed in 1978, and one 1,000 gallon <br /> gasoline UST, installed in 1937, were excavated in April 1990 (USTEC, September, 1991) The <br /> ' location of the former USTs are shown in Figure 2 <br /> ' Several environmental investigations have been conducted since tank removal including a soil <br /> gas survey in May 1990, a subsurface environmental investigation in August and September <br /> 1990, an additional subsurface investigation in October and November 1990, and quarterly <br /> groundwater monitoring The results of these investigations are presented in the reports listed <br /> 1 <br />
