1 i
Fourth Quarter 1992 Momtonng Report
Coca-Cala Enterpnses- West
' February 10, 1993
Page 4
' • Concentrations of TPHG, TPHD, and BTEX continue to remain nondetectable in
downgradient well MW-6
CONCLUSIONS
Based on the results of this quarterly monitoring and previous work performed at the site,
RESNA concludes that the TPHG, TPHD, and BTEX concentrations in groundwater have
remained about the same order of magnitude since the last monitoring episode in November
1991 The majority of gasoline hydrocarbons have been consistently detected in the vicinity
directly downgradient from the former tank pit (in well MW-1). Wells MW-2 and MW-6
located cross-gradient and downgradient from the former tank pit cavity, respectively, contained
nondetectable concentrations of TPHG, TPHD, and BTEX suggesting little or no migration of
gasoline hydrocarbons in groundwater.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon the findings and conclusions of this and previous groundwater monitoring episodes,
RESNA recommends continued quarterly monitoring consisting of measuring water levels In
' wells MW-1 through MW-6 and collecting samples from wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-6
Water samples collected during monitoring should be submitted for laboratory analysis of
TPHG, TPHD, and BTEX using EPA methods 50301801518020
' SCHEDULE
The next quarterly monitoring episode is scheduled for March 1993 with the quarterly
' monitoring report submitted about April 1993 Routine well maintenance and inspection will
be performed as necessary during site visits
' DISTRIBUTION
' It is recommended that copies of this report should be forwarded to the following regulatory
agencies involved in this project
' 4QMR1992 FNL
1
