Samples were analyzed by Lancaster Laboratories,Inc.for TPHd using method CALUFT-DRO/8015B Modified and TPHg using method N.CA LUFT Gasoline.
TPHd analysis was performed both with(TPHdsg)and without a silica gel preparation procedure. Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene,
total xylenes and MTBE were analyzed using EPA Method 8260.
2. The reported concentration of TPHg does not include MTBE or other gasoline constituents eluting prior to the C(n-hexane)TPHg range start time.
3. Accurate surrogate recoveries could not be determined due to the dilution required for analysis of the sample.
4. The observed sample pattern is not typical of diesel/#2 fuel oil.
5. The vial submitted for volatile analysis did not have a pH<2 at the time of analysis. Due to volatile nature of the analytes,
it is not appropriate for the laboratory to adjust the pH at the time of sample receipt. The pH of this sample was pH=5.
6. Sample quantitation was performed using the total sample area from Qo through C25 as requested by the client.
