Parcel 2A and Adjacent Property <br /> Start Work Notification of 5-Day —�- -� <br /> Dual Phase Extraction Pilot Test <br /> oFgtNrKxiuror mxic <br /> x116�iJ1NCFx.GtlNrp(L <br /> Under the oversight of the California Environmental Protection Agency,Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB), and Department of Toxic Substances <br /> Control (DISC),SECOR International will be conducting a 5-day dual phase <br /> extraction(DPE)pilot test at the property identified as Parcel 2A located at the <br /> southwest comer of West Weber Avenue and Lincoln Street,Stockton,California. <br /> Parcel 2A is currently a vacant lot. <br /> The 5-day DPE pilot test is scheduled to begin Monday,March 3,2003, and end <br /> on March 7,2003. Work will be performed 24 hours day for 5 days and will be <br /> conducted using SECOR's mobile treatment system(MTS). The MTS consists <br /> of a liquid-ring blower,a 100-gallon liquidivapor separator,a liquid transfer pump, <br /> and a thermal oxidizer to abate petroleum hydrocarbon vapors prior to discharge <br /> to the atmosphere. Additional equipment utilized to complete the test are a trailer <br /> mounted generator,and a 21,000-gallon capacity water tank. As a standard <br /> a envtrour tentul safety precaution,workers operating equipment and overseeing Site activities may <br /> qua&ty ixne[ be wearing protective clothing and possible air purification equipment during the <br /> �cuir0 Ic vltalrt test.
