Groundwater sampling activities for all wells requiring sampling shall be collected within five days. If the OUs
are collecting water levels and performing sampling separately, the activities must be coordinated to meet these
requirements.
' Maximum detection limits must meet or be lower than the applicable water quality objective, unless this is not achievable
by an EPA or State approved laboratory method. See Table 2 for a list of applicable water quality objectives.
° Without silica gel cleanup.
s Dissolved metals to be analyzed include antimony, arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, chromium, copper, mercury, nickel, lead, T
selenium, silver,thallium, and zinc. lJ
Semi-annual sampling shall be conducted during the first and third quarters. 1
Fuel oxygenates, including methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE),methanol, ethanol, tertiary butyl alcohol(TBA),tertiary
amyl methyl ether(TAME),di-isopropyl ether(DIPE),and ethyl tertiary butyl ether(ETBE),shall be analyzed in all
monitoring wells during fust and third quarter monitoring events. If results are nondetectable for fuel oxygenates in all
wells during both monitoring events,no further monitoring for oxygenates is required. If a fuel oxygenate is detected in
either monitoring event, it shall be added to the quarterly monitoring program for the well in which it was detected.
REPORTING
When reporting the data, the Discharger shall arrange the information in tabular form so that the date,
the constituents, and the concentrations are readily discernible. The data shall be summarized in such a
manner as to illustrate clearly the compliance with this Order. In addition, the Discharger shall notify
the Board within 48 hours of any unscheduled shutdown of any soil vapor and/or groundwater extraction
system.
