The following are Repeat Class II <br />violations observed during this inspection: 108/301, 605, and a Minor Violation Notice to Comply: 703 <br />108 and 301. Witnessed sandblaster particles on the floor next to sand blaster, and white absorbent on <br />the floor next to hydraulic piping by the south entrance of the shop. Facilities shall be maintained and <br />operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br />surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the above - <br />referenced waste, make a hazardous waste determination, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous <br />waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br />managed by 10/25/2013. Please be aware that the size of metal particles must be determined before <br />they can be recycled as scrap metal. Hazardous metal particles 100 microns or smaller cannot be <br />recycled but must be handled as hazardous waste. <br />605. Two 55 -gallon drums of used oil had no Generator name and address, nor hazardous properties <br />and physical state on the label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br />information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br />information. Violation was corrected on site. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br />2 / / Page 4 HW INSPECTION REPORT <br />
