In Warehouse 'VV/DSC, a shelf of assorted electronic items lacks identification/ labeling of Universal <br />Waste. A generator shall label/ mark universal waste with the words "Universal Waste" and type of waste <br />(alkaline batteries, mercury containing equipment, fluorescent tubes, electronic devices, CRTs, aerosol <br />cans). Immediately label these waste and ensure that all universal waste are labeled with the required <br />information. Submit photographic evidence that this shelf/ area for universal waste - electronic devices is <br />properly identified. <br />135. Failed to submit a written response within days of receiving an inspection report. In 01/23/12, a <br />hazardous waste inspection report was issued for several violations. A voicemail was left on 02/29/12 for <br />the operator that the 'Return to Compliance' documents were past due. No follow up documentation was <br />received. The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a written <br />response to the department or the local officer or agency within 60 days of receipt of the inspection <br />report, or with a shorter time as the department or local agency requires.
