Hunter, Stockton <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />This is a report of the Routine Hazardous Waste (HW) inspection conducted at the referenced facility by <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD). Item #20 is a Repeat Violation, and the <br />following are Minor Violations - Notice to Comply: 7,23,79,82,83, 999 <br />7. Observe one 55 -gallon container of liquid, liquid inside the secondary containment for the used oil and <br />used coolant containers, residues of "mop water" in a green 55 -gallon container in the wash area, an 30 - <br />gallon container and 5 used oil filters on top of the container in the "Lubrication" room, all of which <br />require HW determination. <br />-- Generator shall make HW determination of the waste and managing the waste accordingly. <br />* Immediately make a HW determination of the above wastes and manage each accordingly, or <br />dispose of the waste as HW in accordance to California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 22. <br />20. (Repeat) Observed one 55 -gallon container of used coolant and two 55 -gallon containers of used oil <br />improperly labelled. <br />-- All HW containers must be labeled legibly with the following minimum information: 1) The words <br />"Hazardous Waste", 2) Generator name and address, 3) Accumulation start date, 4) Content, 5) Physical <br />state, 6) Hazardous Property. <br />* This violation has been corrected on site. Continue this practice in the future. <br />21,23. Unable to determine the length of storage of used oil and gasoline gas filters in an open 55 - <br />container that was improperly labelled. <br />-- Drained used oil and gas filters shall be accumulated, stored, and transferred in a close rainproof <br />container that is properly labeled with the words "drained used oil and gasoline filters" and the initial date <br />of accumulation, and managed within one year of storage. <br />* Immediately dispose of the above drained oil and gasoline filters in accordance to CCR Title 22. <br />Begin labelling all future drained used oil and gasoline filters containers as described above and manage <br />within one year of accumulation. <br />79,83,84. Observed of at least 30 Universal Waste (UW) fluorescent lamps not stored in a container, <br />and unable to determine the length of their storage. <br />-- UW -lamps shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to the <br />environment, and the container shall be labeled to identify the type of UW and the initial date of <br />accumulation. UW -lamps shall be managed within one year of storage. <br />* Immediately dispose of the above UW -lamps and submit a copy of the disposal receipt to EHD. A <br />pamphlet for the Small HW Disposal Facility has been supplied to the generator during this inspection. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE ($122). <br />THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD Inspector: <br />Received By: <br />Title: <br />EH 23-0 0 08/10/10 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
