Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of <br />all manifests signed off by the destination facility on site for three years and have them readily available for review. <br />If the generator did not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the <br />facility to which the generator's waste was submitted within 60 days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial <br />transporter, the generator shall submit a legible copy of the missing manifest, with some indication that the <br />generator has not received confirmation of delivery. This information shall be submitted to: <br />DTSC Report Repository <br />Generator Information Services Section <br />P.O. Box 806 <br />Sacramento, CA 95812-0806 <br />Immediately locate a copy of the missing manifests or prepare and submit the required information to DTSC. <br />Submit to the EHD a copy of the signed off copy of the manifest or a copy of the information submitted to DTSC. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />203 <br />HSC 25189.5(c) Transported or caused transportation of hazardous waste to an unauthorized point. <br />Hazardous waste is being transported from locations within the school district (Manteca High School, Sierra High <br />School, East Union High School, Weston Ranch High School, Lathrop High School, Lindberg Adult School, Lincoln <br />Elementary School, Lathrop Elementary School) on a bill of lading to MUSD be.Tech Campus, consolidated and <br />then disposed of. Hazardous wastes shall be disposed of only by transportation to a permitted hazardous waste <br />treatment, storage, and disposal facility (TSDF). Immediately cease transportation and consolidation of hazardous <br />waste at MUSD be.Tech Campus and ensure that all future waste is hauled to a permitted TSDF. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />301 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />The hose running from the north side of used oil/used antifreeze tank was leaking onto the ground. Staining was <br />observed on the hose, wall of the building, wall of the tank and ground. A puddle was observed underneath the <br />hose. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of <br />hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately <br />fix the leak, clean up the used oil and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations.
