Brake Shavings Evaluation - Update <br />Sears Auto Centers v Sacramento, California Irerracan <br />January 17, 2012 a Terracon Project No. 80117000 <br />The objective of the evaluation was to assess if the brake rotor shavings at <br />the Sears Auto Center locations in the Sacramento area could be <br />characterized as "non -hazardous waste". Based on the waste <br />characterization sample results, the metal shavings derived from the <br />operations at the referenced store locations may be disposed in accordance <br />with the California Code of Regulations, Title 22 §66261.24 — Characteristics <br />of Toxicity as non -hazardous equivalent waste. <br />General Comments <br />Terracon has prepared this report for the exclusive use of Sears Holdings Corporation. No <br />warranties, express or implied, are intended or made. The analysis and opinions expressed <br />in this report are based on the data obtained from the indicated sampling locations and from <br />other information discussed in this report.
