TestAmeriea
THE LEADER IN ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING
11
17461 Derian Avenue. Suite 100, Irvine, CA 92614 (949) 261-1022 Fax:(949) 260-3297
LABORATORY REPORT
Prepared For: Terracon-Irvine Project: Brake Rotor Shavings
16662 Millikan Ave 80117000
Irvine, CA 92606
Attention: Pearl Pereira Sampled: 12/01/11
Received: 12/02/11
Issued: 01 / 11/ 12 16:41
NELAP #01108CA California ELAP#2706 CSDLAC #10256 AZ #AZ0671 NV #CA01531
The results listed within this Laboratory Report pertain only to the samples tested in the laboratory. The analyses contained in this report
were performed in accordance with the applicable certifications as noted. All soil samples are reported on a wet weight basis unless
otherwise noted in the report. This Laboratory Report is confidential and is intended for the sole use of TestAmerica and its client. This
report shall not be reproduced, except in f ll, without written permission from TestAmerica. The Chain of Custody, I page, is included and
is an integral part of this report.
This entire report was reviewed and approved for release.
SAMPLE CROSS REFERENCE
ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION: 1/11/12. This report was amended to include Chromium VI results for samples ARD -1 and SUNR-1
additionally requested by the client. Please note that pH and Redox Potential (Eh) tests were not performed
along with Cr+6. According to the alkaline digestion method performed as part of hexavalent chromium
determination in soil samples, if matrix spike recoveries are below 75% of the expected concentration, the
sample matrix may be of a reducing nature (i.e. Cr+6 is converted to Cr+3). Generally, the reducing nature
is confirmed to be a matrix characteristic and not a laboratory spiking error, by evaluating the pH and Redox
Potential (Eh) values. However, due to an equipment failure, the laboratory was not able to measure Redox
Potential (Eh) potential. The sample matrix spike recoveries for this matrix were below 75% and a reducing
nature of the matrix is considered confirmed by the fact that the associated LCS in the batch was within
control limits. (In other words, there was no systematic spiking error.)
This report was amended to include additionally requested Chromium-TCLP test for samples ARD -1 and
SUNR-I and confirmation run for Selenium-STLC by EPA method 6020 for all samples
LABORATORVID
IUL0171-01
IUL0171-02
IUL0171-03
IUL0171-04
Reviewed By:
TestAmerica Irvine
Lena Davidkova
Project Manager
CLIENT ID
MATRIX
PAC -1
Soil
FLOR-1
Soil
ARD -1
Soil
SUNR-1
Soil
IUL0171 <Page 1 of 20>
