Stockton CA 95206
I. SUMMARY
May 6, 2003
Mr. Leo Valdez of the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)conducted a
compliance inspection with Ms. Kasey Foley, Lead Senior,RENS, and Mr. John Jackson,
EHS (Attachments 1&2). The objective was to verify compliance with hazardous waste
and tiered permitting statutes and regulations. The following were unavailable:
Financial assurance data, Phase I Environmental Assessment (PEA)report, and an
approval letter from a state certified engineer for tanks at the facility.
Doug Baker was instructed to find these documents and to fax them to Mr. Jackson.
During this inspection Mr. Jackson left a copy of photographs taken on 5/5/03.
May 15,2003
Mr. Jackson discussed the details of the inspection with Supervising REHS Doug Wilson,
and decided that this site needed to have a OSHA referral for confined space issues and
