No hazardous waste treatment activity was observed. Mr. Jack Bishop <br /> stated that the facility conducts pH adjustment of the wastewater on site for the purposes of disposing of it in the <br /> city sewer system at approximately pH 8. According to Mr. Chuck Harman, the site operator, the wastewater pH <br /> never reaches hazardous levels. The pH of the wastes cleaned from the tanks was listed in the Safety Data <br /> Sheets on site as being between pH 6 and 7. <br /> The Conditionally Authorized(CA) treatment permit for this facility will be inactivated.
