BURS <br />he FE Petro Pump Motor <br />Assembly combines superior <br />design and solid construction to <br />bring you high performance with <br />maintenance -free reliability. <br />These pump motor assemblies <br />are available in four pump sizes <br />with Y3, 3/ or 1% horse -power <br />motors. The pump is a multi- <br />stage centrifugal unit. Hermet- <br />ically <br />ermetically sealed motor windings, <br />containing a thermal overload <br />protector within a stainless steel <br />shell, assure dependable motor <br />performance. <br />High Tech Design <br />The FE Petro <br />Motor Coolant <br />System assures A <br />longer unit <br />life. The <br />product <br />being pumped <br />circulates <br />around the <br />outside and <br />through the <br />inside of the motor <br />to keep the unit <br />cool. The product <br />also lubricates <br />the bearings <br />and dis- <br />charges _ <br />into <br />'. the <br />storage <br />tank, not <br />into the pressure <br />pipe. This assures constant <br />coolant and lubricant <br />regardless of whether the <br />unit is pumping or not. <br />Twenty-five percent glass - <br />filled Celcon® impellers and <br />diffusers mean dependability <br />and low maintenance. Celcon® <br />acetal copolymer material <br />provides high strength and <br />excellent wear resistance. <br />Carbon steel inserts are molded <br />into the diffuser and <br />diffuser plate <br />for added <br />durability.8 ge <br />The exclusive use of Franklin <br />Electric UL listed motors means <br />years of reliable power. Franklin <br />Electric is the world's largest <br />manufacturer of submersible <br />electrical motors. <br />Unique Features <br />The FE Petro Pump <br />Motor Assembly <br />features a unique <br />removable intake screen. This <br />keeps pea gravel or other large <br />objects from entering the pump <br />and locking up the unit. <br />A thermal overcurrent <br />overload with automatic reset is <br />built into every motor. Should <br />any condition occur which <br />creates <br />excess <br />currentin <br />the motor, <br />the unit will <br />be taken off line <br />and then reset. This <br />overload must pass a 3 day <br />locked rotor test in order to <br />meet rigid UL requirements. <br />Each FE Petro pump motor has <br />unit identification information <br />etched on the assembly shell. <br />This means quicker unit identifi- <br />cation. It is no longer necessary <br />to measure the pump to cal- <br />culate its horsepower. <br />Versatility <br />The FE Petro Pump Motor <br />Assembly is interchangeable <br />by horsepower with different <br />manufacturers' products.
