El Dorado Street, Stockton <br />San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (EHD) has <br />performed a preliminary review of your submittal for application to install underground <br />storage tanks at the above referenced site. <br />Please submit the following documentation prior to issuance of a permit: <br />1) The cross section of the tank on the submitted plans calls for 3' of backfill on top <br />of the tank, and the slab thickness , is not indicated. The bouyancy calculations <br />that were submitted call for 4' of backfill with a 6" slab. Slabs subject to traffic <br />should be a minimum of 6" reinforced concrete per the manufacturers <br />installation instructions. Please submit a redraw of the cross section, in <br />triplicate, to clarify this inconsistency. <br />2) The bouyancy safety factor is not clearly indicated on the calculations that were <br />submitted. Please resubmit the bouyancy calculations with the safety factor <br />clearly indicated. <br />3) Please submit the complete installation instructions for the piping and overfill <br />prevention valves including tank capacity conversion chart. <br />4) Please provide the cut sheets for the interstitial monitor, spiluc ets and <br />dispe ans. �R,�'D-�pZcY1o%CO r r ,ts� <br />5) Su p sensor (part number 794390-205/208) is not on the approved LG 113- <br />13 list. Please provide cut sheets for a piping sump/dispenser sensor that is <br />approved, or provide documentation that indicates that this is an approved <br />sensor. <br />The plans have 2 dispenser pans listed.
