RESPONSE PLAN• <br />To. the satisfaction of the local agency, any unauthorized <br />release will be removed from the secondary container within the <br />shortest possible time and no longer than the time consistent with <br />the ability of the secondary container to contain the hazardous <br />substance. <br />P11-fumi Nipiq V.0. <br />�11111F OR <br />Absorbant Material <br />Shovel <br />Mops <br />Rags <br />Buckets <br />Sponges <br />Equipment maintenance schedule <br />CLEAN-UP/RECORDS: <br />The following steps should ensue after a spill. <br />1. Small spills (less than 1 gallon and only requiring 15 <br />minutes to clean up):shall be cleaned up using absorbent <br />materials., <br />2. Larger spills occurring during product delivery shall be <br />reported to the terminal by the dealer and/or by the <br />delivery truck driver. The terminal supervisor will <br />notify a local petroleum maintenance contractor who is <br />equipped with N.F.P.A. approved type hand pump, vacuum and <br />transport container. Large spills not caused by delivery <br />shall be reported immediately to Kathy Kotulak (415) 676- <br />1414. <br />3. Spills shall be cleaned up within'8 hours of detection, <br />returned to a local terminal and/or disposed of in a <br />lawful manner, call (209) 468-3468 - San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department for information. <br />4. Dealer shall record all spills whether it is due to <br />delivery overfill of accidental spillage, which exceeds <br />approximately one gallon. <br />5. Large spills (more than 1 gallon) must be reported to the <br />local agency, within 24 hours. If spill is large enough <br />to pose a significant hazard, it must also be reported to <br />the California Office of Emergency Services at 800-852- <br />7440. <br />
