J
Appendix B: VSFC Faults and Alarms
Warnings
Warnings
LOW CURRENT
The current going to the motor has been less than 1 amp for more than 5 seconds. Check the entire system for
proper operation and wiring.
DRY RUN
The drive has detected a dry run. Please check product level in the tank. If fuel levels are sufficient check the wiring
going to the motor (see Table 7 on page 23).
LONG RUN
The drive has detected a handle request continuously for more than 2 hours without product being dispensed.
Check the wiring and operation of the handle signal from the dispensers. If it is a true dispense of that duration
and flow requirement, disable the Long Handle Warning (see Table 2 on page 9).
COM WARNING
The master VSFC unit has lost communications with another VSFC unit. Check all the communication wires (see
Figure 15 on page 25) and power to all drives and then reset the master drive (see Table 7 on page 23).
EEPROM WARNING
The VSFC drive had a problem reading from the EEPROM. Reset the master VSFC drive. If the warning persists
than the drive has a problem with the EEPROM. The drive will still operate in this state; it will not be able to save
any warning or alarm histories.
SETUP WARNING
The VSFC drive detected a setup problem. Turn off power, check all setup switches and wiring then re -power the
drive.
B-2
