If an inner -wall leak occurs, the brine solution <br />seeps into the tank lowering the brine level in the res- <br />ervoir. The Dual -Float Sensor will then trigger a low <br />level alarm. if an outer -wall leak occurs where ground <br />water is above the tank, the ground water seeps into <br />the reservoir. The Dual -Float Sensor will thep trigger a <br />high level alarm. <br />The Single -Float Sensor is ideal for low ground water <br />areas, since it only detects low level alarm conditions. <br />If an inner -wall leak occurs, the brine solution seeps <br />into the tank. If an outer -wall leak occurs, the trine <br />solution leaks out of the tank. In both cases, the brine <br />level decreases and the Single -Float Sensor triggers <br />a low level alarm. <br />The housing is constructed of dear PVC, allowing the <br />operator to pull the sensor from the reserWr to visu- <br />ally inspect float operation. A vented, lockable cap <br />prevents acddental spills on the ground surface from <br />entering the reservoir. <br />Veeder-Root warrants the Hydrostatic Reservoir Sen- <br />sors to be free from material defects for a periodof <br />one year from the date of installation or 15 months <br />from the date of invoice. <br />Detecti017 Capabilities <br />to Dual -Float sensor alarm conditions: <br />• Leak in inner wall triggers a low level alarm. <br />• Leak in outer wall triggers a high level alarm <br />in high groundwater areas; low level alarm in <br />low groundwater areas. <br />► Single -float sensor alarm conditions: <br />• Leak in inner or outer wall triggers a low <br />level alarm in low groundwater areas. <br />Operating Capabiliiies <br />► Opemtkg Temp&ature Range: 25°C to +40°C. <br />► Storage Temperature Range: -44°C to + 67C. <br />► Rests in salt brine solution of up to 30% calcium <br />chloride. <br />► Cable length: 12 feet. <br />► Single -Float Sensor Dimensions: 6. t1" high, 2.5" <br />diameter. <br />► Dual -Float Sensor Dimensions: 19.3' high. 2.5" <br />diameter. <br />► Withstands removal from reservoir several times a <br />year without sensor damage, <br />► Clear plastic housing for visual inspection of float <br />operation. <br />
