Quik Stop Station No. 039 February 17, 1999 <br />Stockton, California Tank Closure Report <br />at a concentration of 14,800 ppm. Only low levels of BTEX and MTBE were reported at <br />(1.0 ppm toluene, 0.018 ppm xylenes, and 0.18 ppm MTBE). <br />Excavated Soil: Analytical results of soil samples collected from the excavated soil <br />stockpiles indicated TPHg (60 to 63 ppm), BTEX (0.044 to 0.069 ppm toluene, 0.025 to <br />0.16 ppm ethylbenzene, and 0.74 to 1.6 ppm xylenes), MTBE (0.14 to 0.65 ppm), and lead <br />(0:64 and 0.65 ppm). <br />Replacement UST Excavation Soil: Analytical results of soil samples collected <br />from the excavated soil used to backfill the former UST excavation indicated no detectable <br />concentrations of TPHg, BTEX, or MTBE. <br />Soil Disposal <br />On November 21 and 25, and December 4, 1998, approximately 672 tons of soil were <br />transported under Non -Hazardous Waste Manifests by Den Beste Transportation of <br />Windsor, California to the Forward Landfill facility in Manteca, California for <br />bioremediation and recycling. This site investigation was conducted solely for the purpose of evaluat ^ soil <br />conditions adjacent to former UST locations with respect to gasoline -related hydrocarbons. <br />No soil engineering or geotechnical references are implied nor should any such references be <br />inferred. The evaluation of geological conditions at the site, for purposes of this <br />investigation, was made utilizing a limited number of observation points. Subsurface <br />conditions may vary some distance away from the available observation points.
