All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to <br />activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br />Corrected during the inspection by the testing technician by adjusting the Bravo chain. <br />21) Approximately one inch of liquid was observed in the 91 tank annular space. The liquid appeared to <br />be water. The annular liquid sensor was at the lowest point in the tank riser and did not go into alarm. <br />The sensor also passed the annual test done today. <br />If water could enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it must be removed <br />and disposed of properly. Immediately remove this liquid, make a hazardous waste determination per <br />Title 22 hazardous waste regulations, and manage it accordingly. Ensure that the 91 tank annular space <br />is maintained free of liquid. <br />23c) The secondary containment test date (August 27, 2009) on the June 2010 designated operator <br />report is incorrect. The correct date is June 8, 2008. Use the correct date on future designated operator <br />reports. Same violation is on the July 6, 2010 inspection report. <br />Notes <br />1) Spill containers were tested July 6, 2010 at the tank owner's request. The remainder of the annual <br />testing was done today. <br />2) This inspection will be billed to the facility at the Environmental Health Department hourly rate since <br />this is second inspection done this fiscal year.
