Husky PV Vent Installation/Maintenance Instructions Page 1 of 1 <br /> PRESSURE/VACUUM VENT MODEL 4620 AND 4885 / - <br /> INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE <br /> INSTRUCTIONS <br /> INSTALLATION <br /> The PN Vent is designed to fit on top of a 2"vent pipe.Remove the P/V Vent from <br /> the carton and visually inspect for any shipping damage. <br /> Model 4620 Slip On P/V Vent <br /> The Model 4620 can be installed on <br /> either a threaded or not threaded 2" <br /> pipe.Hold the P/V Vent upside down <br /> s o Er scesws and place the seal into the vent <br /> G ® opening. Using an Allen wrench, back <br /> DRAIN HOLE �-sou. the 4 set screws out so that the PN . <br /> Vent will slip over the vent pipe. <br /> (set screws&seal for Model 4620 only) <br /> Place the PN Vent on top of the vent pipe and push or pull down on the PN Vent to <br /> slightly compress the seal. Tighten the 4 set screws firmly.Periodic maintenance is <br /> recommended(see below). <br /> Model 4885 Thread On P/V Vent <br /> Apply pipe sealant to the threads on the 2"vent stack. Screw the P/V Vent onto the <br /> vent stack and tighten snugly with a suitable wrench_DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. <br /> Periodic maintenance is recommended(see below). <br /> screw MAINTENANCE <br /> To clean or inspect the PN Vent for foreign <br /> objects without removing the P/V Vent from the <br /> vent pipe: <br /> i <br /> Remove the screws that holds the top <br /> cover on. <br /> Remove any debris that might be sitting <br /> inside the lower cover. <br /> Check.the drain holes in the lower cover <br /> for blockage: <br /> The two (2) screens should not be <br /> removed. <br /> Reinstall the top cover and retaining <br /> screws. <br /> 6.
