Hammer Lane
Stockton,California
AEI Project No. 1856
Dear Mr. Kith:
As we discussed over the phone, AEI would like to rush our application to install fuel USTs at
the address referenced above. Enclosed is a check for$312.00. Also enclosed are three copies of
the equipment list and cut sheets for the equipment.
I also have two other questions. First, the application directions say that a detailed monitoring
and response plan is required. What exactly does that need to include? The installation projects
we are working or have worked on in Bay Area counties did not require such a plan to be
provided by the installation contractor, so I am not familiar with what is needed in this plan.
Second, it is our understanding from previous conversations with PHS-EHD staff that soil
sampling will not be required when we excavate for the installation. I just wanted to make sure
that that is accurate. The site is a former Arco station with monitoring wells on-site, and we are
installing the tanks in a different location than before.
We would like to begin work at this site in early October. I appreciate your time in helping me
with this project. Please contact me at (925) 283-6000 if you have any questions or need us to
provide further information.
Sincerely,
ALL ENVIRONMENTAL,INC.
Nic Walchuk
Project Geologist
Corporate Headquarters: Los Angeles Office:
901 Moraga Road,Suite C 2200 Pacific Coast Hwy,Suite 217
Lafayette,CA 94549-4567 Hermosa Beach,CA 90254-2701
Phone:(925)283-6000 (800)801-3224 Phone:(310)798-4255
Fax:(925)283-6121 is www.all-environmental.com Fax:(310)798-2841
