Monitoring equipment shall be <br />maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest possible opportunity. The sensor was relocated tnthe lowest <br />point ofthe sump bythe service technician. Ensure that all monitoring equipment iomaintained todetect aleak at <br />the earliest opportunity. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />This is a Class 11 violation. <br />309 CCR 2636(f)(1) Monitoring in the UDCs failed to activate an audible and visualalarm orstop the flow atthe UDC. <br />The BRAVO FLOATANDCHAIN for the 01-produotinthe 1-2 and 3-4 UDC sumps failed tostop the flow ofproduct at <br />the dispenser when tested. All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or <br />stop the flow ofproduct otthe dispenser when itdetects aleak. After two attempts, theaervioeteohnicianac|eened <br />the area around the floats and on the third attempt, the float and chain at dispenser 1-2 passed, and at the fourth <br />attempt the float and chain atdispenser 3-4passed. <br />|This was corrected on site. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />318 HSC 25291 (e) Water in secondary containment not removed, analyzed, and properly disposed of (pre-Jul2003). <br />Liquid was observed in the 87 -product submersible turbine pump (STP) sump. |fwater could enter into the secondary <br />containment by precipitation or infiltration, it must be removed and disposed of properly. The service technician <br />removed approximately one cup ofliquid from the 87-pnoductSTP sump. Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces <br />are maintained free of liquid. <br />|This was corrected on site. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />325 CCR 2635(b) Spill container failed to contain a minimum capacity of five gallons. <br />The 87-pruductspill container failed when tested. All spill containers shall have aminimum capacity offive gallons <br />and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or cleaned up. The service technician replaced the <br />cap and the 87'pruduotspill container passed the one-hour hydrostatic test.
