3.7.4 Reinforce seams of the entry area and cutout section by applying five (5) layers of 1.5 ounce <br /> matting,saturated with lining material following by the application of 34 ounce fiberglass woven roving <br /> and lining material.The reinforcing cloth must be tested with silane to ensure compatibility with the lining <br /> material. <br /> 3.7.5 Rub after each application of fiberglass matting to remove any entrapped air bubbles. <br /> 3.8 Final Test <br /> 3.8.1 After all work is completed, tank must be tested to ensure that it is leak-free. <br /> 3.8.2 Pressurize tank with 5 psig (3 psig for tanks over ten feet in diameter). <br /> 3.8.3 Test pressure must hold without fluctuation, for a period of one (1) hour. <br /> The Applicator assumes all responsibility for the selection of IECC products for coating the interior of tanks,for exercising appropriate <br /> safety measures in the application of any such product,for the suitability of such products for any such application including the <br /> durability and safety of any such product. The Applicator shall indemnify and hold IECC harmless for any claim,action,damage or <br /> liability asserted by any third party against IECC because of any IECC product used by the Applicator. <br /> IECC shall not be responsible to anyone for the use of,or reliance upon this recommendation.IECC shall not incur any obligation or <br /> liability for damages including consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use,interpretation of,or reliance upon <br /> this recommendation.IECC makes no representation,warranty or guarantee in connection with this recommendation,and thereby <br /> disclaims any liability or responsibility for loss or damage from its use. <br /> 2/99 <br /> Page 18 of 30 <br />
