11 <br />If waste oil is not being removed from the waste oil tank periodically, then use of the <br />tank cannot be verified, and you are in violation of CCR 2670 "Closure <br />Requirements". <br />In summary, if the waste oil tank is in use, then the waste oil removal documentation for the <br />periodic removal of waste oil from the tank during the past 12 years should be made <br />available for inspection, and the tank shall be monitored by a properly functioning <br />monitoring system. <br />If use of the tank cannot be verified or the tank is not being properly monitored, then this <br />agency requires the tank to be closed in compliance with California Code of Regulations <br />Section 2670. A closure plan should be submitted to this agency by January 15, 2000. <br />A properly functioning monitoring system shall monitor all tanks in the system beginning <br />immediately and the monitoring system testing results should be submitted by January 15, <br />2000. All required line test results should be submitted by January 15, 2000. All milk run <br />receipts for waste oil removal should be submitted by January 15, 2000. All non-RCRA <br />hazardous waste removal manifests for oily sump water should be submitted by January 15, <br />2000.
