PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE! <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION <br />Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer <br />304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor • Stockton, CA 95202 <br />209/468-3420 <br />Scott Olvin <br />Convenience Acquisition Company <br />More for Less <br />3336 Bradshaw Road <br />Sacramento CA 95827 <br />RE: More For Less #37 <br />15 E Grant Line Road <br />Tracy CA 95376 <br />10/27/98 <br />A routine inspection of your facility was conducted on October 22, 1998 by San <br />Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). <br />The following violations became apparent as a result of that inspection: <br />Waste Oil Tank <br />As long as the tank contains waste oil and it is monitored, it may remain in service. <br />Since you no longer appear to be soliciting customers for waste oil disposal, <br />PHS/EHD recommends that you submit an application for removal of this <br />underground storage tank (UST). <br />Overfill Prevention Device <br />Overfill prevention devices are not present on the tank inlets. Pursuant to California <br />Code of Regulations, Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 16, Underground Storage Tank <br />Regulations (CCR) all underground storage tanks systems shall be retrofitted with an <br />overfill prevention system and a spill container which meet the requirements of CCR <br />Section 2635 (b) by December 22, 1998. <br />Forms A and B <br />PHS/EHD requires forms "A" and `B" whenever there is a change of information. <br />These forms have not been filed with this agency to reflect Convenience Acquisition <br />Company as the new tank owners. <br />Financial Responsibility <br />A Statement of Financial Responsibility has not been filed with this agency since the <br />change of ownership took place.
