L] <br />Iffl, M#MA <br />1. The existing generator enclosure has a very small day tank that transfers the fuel <br />between the generator and the existing double wall underground tank. This day tank <br />will also be removed along with the generator and the enclo.su're. <br />2. The existing double wall fuel lines from the undergrp,6nd tank come inside the <br />enclosure in a vault/trench. <br />3. We will be constructing an enclosed metal covl'� ' at the trench/vault where the <br />existing fuel lines come through the ground and Oncrete side wall of the trench/vault <br />to keep rain water out. <br />4. This vault will have monitoring sensor for/fuel leak. <br />5. New fuel lines will be connected to th(2) existing fuel lines, 1 supply and 1 return, <br />in the vault to be connected to a new 27 gallon outdoor day tank that would transfer <br />he fuel between the existing unclergro�d double tank and the new generator. <br />6. The new fuel line which will all above ground can be single wall black iron pipes, <br />as allowed by code. <br />7. The Plumbing drawings should indicate our intention to comply with code required <br />fuel leak monitoring. <br />8. There is an existing fuel/`polisher (filter) that has not been in use for many <br />years. This equipment will/be removed and the fuel line between it and the <br />underground fuel tank will be removed. The sump at the underground tank where this <br />fuel polisher fuel lines pass through to enter the tank, the plumbing drawing requires <br />the Contractor to plugged or repair it to meet regulatory requirements. In order to we <br />will be removing the ,double line boot entry penetration and replacing it with an APT <br />"DEB -BL -DA" (cut sheets attached) plug blank to seal off the current entry boot. <br />9. The sump being affected will be SB -989 tested after work is completed. <br />I <br />
